For the 6th year, Liemur has organized a Whisky tasting event for its customers, staff and professional contacts. It was hosted by Milroy’s in London-Soho.
Every year, Liemur is creating a social event during which we have a Whisky and/or Wine tasting evening. This event is hosted at Milroy’s, Soho. The agenda is typically the following: we meet at Milroy’s place, there is food and we have a chat while people are arriving. When everyone is there, we sit around tables and we taste one after the other a handful of Whiskies and/or wines. Milroy’s expert is leading the tasting and tells us about what we drink, how it is made, what to look for in it, etc. It is a cosy, light and friendly atmosphere.
Let’s be clear about it, this is not a “drinking evening”. The objective is the opposite: enjoy good quality beverages and learn about them. No one ever gets drunk during these events.
Yesterday, we had two Milroy experts to help us: Angus and Lee. They were absolutely fantastic at handling the event. They were knowledgeable and fun. We learned a great deal about Whisky again, including some very interesting anecdotes. We have tasted 7 different spirits:

The evening was very friendly and we all had plenty of conversations running. Some of us were coming directly from Germany, Hungary and Canada. Definitely worth the effort!
Thank you very much to Cliff who organised the event for Liemur. Special thanks to all our staff and our friendly customers who make Liemur what it is. And of course, thanks to Lee and Angus.
See you next year.
